Something you wouldn't expect- this is what Faux Real is serving. The two brothers Virgile and Elliot Arndt bring a performance to the stage you've never seen before. Combining electronic music akin to artists like Cherub and STRFKR, with captivating choreography reminiscent of stage presences such as Geneva Jacuzzi, the duo puts on a show you can't forget. Starting the show with their song βWorkhorseβ set the scene for addictive beats and hypnotizing routines. The band soon shared that this was there first time playing through their full debut album, Faux Ever released just in this past year, which is definitely a record awesome on it's own, but meant to be performed live. βThis is the hometown showβ¦β Virgile Arndt told us after the first few numbers, ββ¦And it's hitting extra hard already.β And the audience shared the same energy, ecstatic to dance along and sing what words we could. When asked show of hands how many of us had been to a Faux Real concert before, I don't know if I saw anyone with their hand down. And they make sure to keep their loyal audience involved, hopping multiple times into the center of the crowd to dance along with everyone. It's obvious that when you see them once, you certainly need to see them again. The clearly well rehearsed choreography showed not just in their moves, but in their own lighting changes done by covering the various lights with different colored fabric, as well as taking turns singing interchanging lines, and not missing a beat through it all. After hearing these songs live I can tell you they don't want to leave your head, this album is the perfect scratch for your brain that you want to continue Faux Ever.
